The rumour mill this week was a bit quite, but ok we know that because of his surgery Ronaldo will likely stay at Manchester United but another player always in the spotlight, Frank Lampard might join his former Coach at Internationale.
The additions to the list of West Ham are for this week: Lucas Neill to go to Galatasary, Bobby Zamora and John Pantsil are followed by London’s Fulham and Fulham is allowed to speak to them. George Mcartney is a target for Sunderland but the former Sunderland doesn’t want to return.
In this transfer period I haven’t heard that much about transfers of West Ham United.
With every team trying to bolster their squad there are only rumours of West Ham players going somewhere else: Norberto Solano has been released, Robert Green (to Aston Villa), Freddie Ljungberg (to Roma) and Anton Ferdinand (to Aston Villa or either Newcastle) are probably leaving West Ham United.
An update on the recent paragraph: Lucas Neill is set for Galatasaray and Mark Noble is going to play for Arsenal next year as a replacement for Flamini? The rumour mill is at its top. We will see who is going and who will join West Ham United next season
Till now West Ham made one signing and they are chasing players they chased before but will they join? We are talking about Barcelona’s Eidur Gudjohnsen, Everton’s Andy Johnson, Nickey Shorey and James Harper from Reading and David Lanzafame from Juventus.
Keep reading this space and hopefully I can fill you in on West Ham’s progress in the transfer market.
Without any doubt this player has technique and is therefore voted as best player in the world but I am getting a bit sick of the saga where he is playing next season.
Off course I do understand that with his age and playing already for some years with the same club he wants to have a new challenge. Is going to Spain a real challenge?
For some Spain is a challenge (for me it is just a nice and cheap holiday destination ). It is a fact that the league in Spain is only dominated by a few teams. Most of the top players in the world have been going from top player to be an average one. If a player is still not on his peak than I would choose to play in a tough competition rather than to become average before you even reach your peak.
In the case of Ronaldo and Manchester United or Real Madrid. It isn’t up to the teams: If Ronaldo leaves Manchester than Manchester United will bring a great team on the pitch again. The same counts for Real Madrid. It is just dependent what Ronaldo dreams and wants. It isn’t his commitment to a club but to what extend he wants to stay and gain his peak or to go somewhere else with the chance he’ll stay a world class player or become an average one like all of the players that made this move before him.
This article is not about my idea what he should do. This is completely up to him. In fact I don’t think he’ll read my blog . I hope with this article the saga stops and that the players that face the same decision will make up their minds rather then to fill the news articles and the gossip around it.
Next year we have the same transfer saga with another player and we start all over again. I only hope next year the saga will not be that Ronaldo has made a wrong decision and wants to go back to the Premier League.
