Many people are writing how to become successful in Internet marketing. I am doing well in that kind of field but my major profession is currently heavily dependent on the market today and I am heavily affected by the so called “credit crunch”.
Because of this I can say: No, I’m not successful at all. The two industries I operate in are heavily linked to each other and while I am making money with my Internet marketing activities I have a double loss with the other one. If a main source of activities isn’t producing any turnover at all and you still need to invest in the other activities than in the long run all your activities will run out of investment capital.
I’m honest enough to say I am on the brink of giving up! Not that I’m not producing enough but because of other things.
This certainly will not say I am over and done with but my activities will reduce because of the lack of support. I don’t mean people support. I am getting enough responses and help that is needed to stay focused and determined to go on, but forces from outside means that I have to reduce in some time, my activities.
Reducing any kind of activities will mean a loss. I will not gain the full capacity of my efforts and although I am willing to teach anyone how to be successful, these people will also go through the stage that periods are not working out for them. I have always been told there are 7 good years and there are 7 bad years. I surely hope I will be already in my 7th bad year because I can’t see the end of the tunnel, but I’ll be successful again even if I have to cope with these bad times.
The message for you all of this statement is that you need to be determined to succeed, even if bad things are coming to you. I have plenty of plans. The only thing that is lacking is the means to realize all these plans and yet I am still determined to make my activities a success.

When I am browsing the Internet and specifically in areas where lots of Internet marketers are coming I sometimes see messages that people are scammed before but now have found their way of success.
Yes I do think there are scams out there but what I don’t understand is when the first thing an Internet marketer learns by obtaining traffic that scams aren’t exposed on every little bit of advertisement that you can find. I know for sure that I would advertise a scam anywhere I could.
On the other hand it can also be that a particular program wasn’t really a scam but people are just not satisfied with their result. People tend to talk loud if their expectations aren’t met. I don’t think so and I really do think it is up to the participants themselves.
The level of trust is low and the lack of communication and support from a sponsor is making people calling for a scam.

I have chosen not to go with any affiliate program where dozens of people are getting the same website hosted from a server that is maintained by the affiliate company. If I have my own website I am entitled to do whatever I want to do with my website and can maintain my own list.
If we are talking about list building. I do believe that any external party has the ability to obtain your sign-ups. These sign ups can be sold to other companies while you are stating on your website that you never will sell any details of your subscribers. If we come back to scams then with the above statements I can call any affiliate program a scam, I can call any company that is dealing with personal data a scam, but in fact they do their business and I only can say I don’t do business that way.
